Integrations
An integration engagement names the systems, the record that is the source of truth, and what happens when a login or a field changes. A single connection is one pair of tools. A system map is several, written down before the build.
This is not a new platform. If you need an application of your own, that is custom software. Integrations join what is already in the stack.
How an engagement runs
-
01
Inventory
List the systems and which one owns each kind of record.
-
02
Contract
Write the fields that move, and the ones that do not.
-
03
Connect
Build the agreed path and test it on real records.
-
04
Watch
Leave a runbook and a week of watching the first live runs.
What you leave with
- A source of truth named in writing
- A connection your team can explain when it fails
- A runbook for the day a password or column changes
Hour packs tied to this lane
Single connection
Two systems that should share a record and currently do not.
System map
A stack that grew by accident and now contradicts itself.

A connection that is live and will keep changing.

Integrations
Name the source of truth before the first field moves.
An integration engagement names the systems, the record that is allowed to win, and what happens when a login or a field changes. A single connection is one pair of tools, one direction, exceptions to a person. A system map is several tools, written down before the build. Integration care is the month for breaks, field changes, and new endpoints: the hourly rate times 30.
This is not a new platform. If you need an application of your own, that is custom software. Integrations join what is already in the stack. The failure mode we design for is ordinary: a renamed column, an expired password, a line that does not match. Someone is notified. The lists are not left to drift until afternoon.
A week of watching the first live runs is part of the fixed lines. Care, if you want it, is separate. A connection that is live and will keep changing should not pretend to be finished on the day it first succeeds.
Integration questions
Will you replace the booking system, the warehouse tool, or the clinical record?
No. We connect the enquiry, the order, or the field to the system that already owns it. Replacing that system is a different conversation, and often a refusal.
What if we do not know which system is the source of truth?
Then the first work is the inventory, not the connection. A system map exists for that. Connecting two tools that both believe they own the record makes the drift worse.
Is care mandatory?
No. Take it when the connection will keep changing. Skip it when the pair of tools is stable and you have the runbook.
