Glossary

If a scope uses one of these words differently, the scope should say so.

They are short so the pages can keep using them.

Plain definitions.

An hourly rate is the starting price for a shape of work. It is not a cart of hours. A month is that rate multiplied by 30, shown as its own figure. A fixed block ends. A monthly block refreshes and does not roll leftover time forward.

A scope is the email that names the job, the edge, the rate, and the review. A handover is the note and access that let you operate the result. A runbook is the short page for the day a password or a column changes. An exception path is the route to a person when the automatic step should stop.

A pilot is a bounded proof that is allowed to stop. An agent build is a larger queue with the same review rule. Discovery is a plan you can decline. Care and support are months for edits and breaks, not unnamed projects. Capacity is a month for a varied queue. Launch watch is a short project block for the fortnight after something goes live.

A composite story on the work page is a kind of job, not a client logo. A source of truth is the system allowed to win when two records disagree. The contact form stores an enquiry and tries to email you. It does not create an account, take a card, or start the work.
